St Arnaud has it all for Mountain Bikers. From the Pirika track located in the Howard Valley ( a 20 minute drive towards Murchison) to the multiple trails located at Teetotal (less than 5minutes from St Arnaud Village) there are trails to suit every skill level.

Bird watching
Approximately 58 species have been recorded within the National Park, Bird watching enthusiasts may see or hear stunning Shining Cuckoos, German owls and possibly even a great Spotted Kiwi.
Ice Skating
During the coldest months of July to September there is a designated frozen pond located less than five minutes from St Arnaud which offers a stunning skating experience.
Water Sports
During the Summer months Lake Rotoiti is a Mecca for water sport enthusiasts. Swimming in the Lake offers a refreshing, often invigorating buzz.
